Privacy Statement

For each visitor to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes no information regarding the domain or e-mail address. We collect the e-mail address of those who communicate with us via e-mail, aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit, user specific information on what pages consumers access or visit and information volunteered by the consumer, such as survey information and/or site registrations.

The information we collect is used for internal review and is then discarded, used to improve the content of our Web page, used to customize the content and/or layout of our page for individual consumer and used by us to contact consumers for marketing purposes.

You understand and agree that the owners of this site shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data or other intangible losses (even if the owners of this site have been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from the use or the inability to use the product(s) and or service(s) or any misuse of the product(s) and or service(s) in a manner not in accordance with their intended use

 

 

Consignment Policies and Agreement for Listings on www.cureforspace.com 

Agreement valid for one (1) year from original signature date – Unlimited number of items

Listing

1. Listing fee is $10 up front per item/set until sold (maximum time of listing is one (1) year). A separate Listing Agreement is signed for each item/set. Fee is refunded at time of sale. An item/set may be withdrawn at any time for a withdrawal fee of $10.
2. At time of sale 30% are deducted from final sales price as consignment fee to Cure for Space.
3. Consignor may supply high quality digital photos (e.g., front, back, open, shut), a detailed description, and approximate weight and size of the item/set. If necessary, photos and/or descriptive facts to help in the sale are made by Cure for Space at an hourly rate of $25.
4. Cure for Space and Consignor jointly determine pricing for each consigned item/set. Items/sets should be worth $150 or more. Cure for Space personally views each item/set before listing.
5. Buyer may make an offer via e-mail to cureforspace@earthlink.net to be considered by Consignor and Cure for Space.
6. Cure for Space and Consignor agree to a possible discounting of set price if so necessary: ____% reduction after every 30 days of listing. In the event the item does not sell at a reasonable profit to Consignor, the item/set will be removed from the listing (no withdrawal fee).
7. Cure for Space reserves the right to refuse a listing or to cancel any agreement at any time for any reason.
8. Consignor stores item/set(s) until sold and money has been received by Cure for Space.

Appraising

1. Cure for Space determines if an appraisal is recommended (e.g., for collectors’ items, antiques, art objects, jewelry). Consignor may conduct appraisal and provide Cure for Space with the appropriate documentation.
2. Cure for Space charges a flat fee of $20 per set or item to appraise the basic resale value. The appraisal fee is payable at time of listing and will be refunded at time of sale. Before an item/set is appraised and listed, the following is required:

• o Several high quality digital photos of the item/set (e.g., front, back, open, shut) –also to be used in the listing
• o A detailed description (e.g., color, type of material) with historical information, if a collectible –also to be used in the listing
• o The approximate weight and size of the item/set – also to be used in the listing and to help determine shipping and handling cost.
  A fee of $25/hour applies if Cure for Space takes photos, writes description, weighs, and sizes, the item or set.

1. An appraisal certificate will be downloadable via the listing and a copy of it is given to the buyer with the item/set.

Disclaimer for Item Conditions:

1. Consignment items must be clean and kept in good condition. Any cleaning done by Cure for Space will be charged at $25/hour or contracted to a specialized service, if necessary.
2. By purchasing used items through Cure for Space Consignment, buyer(s) acknowledge that they are aware that item(s) may have flaws.
3. All items are sold as is and no warranty is expressed or implied regarding the usefulness or durability of any items.
4. Items are researched and value is an approximate determined by Consignor and Cure for Space.

Local Sales

1. Cure for Space arranges with buyer and Consignor for pick-up of any item after payment has been received by Cure for Space within seven (7) days.
2. Cure for Space gives the option to meet the buyer at the location of the item to finalize the transaction for a $25/hour fee paid by Consignor.

Shipping and Handling

1. Cure for Space sells any item to anywhere in the world. Shipping and handling costs are calculated and included during checkout. Handling charges include shipping by Cure for Space. Cure for Space provides supplies for shipping.
2. If the Consignor chooses to be responsible for the shipping, Cure for Space reimburses shipping and handling cost to the Consignor with his or her share of the sale. Consignor provides supplies for shipping.

Payments

1. Consignors make payments via PayPal (cureforspace@earthlink.net), check, cash, or money order. Listings do not take place until any up front fees have been received. Up front fees are in Listing Agreement for any specific item/set.
2. Buyers make payments via shopping cart on cureforspace.com.
3. Consignor is notified by Cure for Space the within two (2) days payment has been received from buyer.
4. Cure for Space reimburses Consignor via check (by mail) or PayPal within two (2) days of shipping or pick-up. Consignor specifies how money shall be issued on Listing Agreement for any specific item/set.

Please download and sign this agreement before listing your first item. This agreement will be valid for one year from the date of signature and no minimum listings are required.
